LOCAL GOOD CAUSES TAKE THE BISCUIT

LOCAL GOOD CAUSES TAKE THE BISCUIT
The Beacon of Light received a very special delivery this week, courtesy of McVities and Business in the Community. Boxes of 9,000 cakes were donated by the two organisations as the Foundation of Light continues to play its part in supporting the local community where it can. Fifteen good causes benefitted from the kind donation as the cakes were collected from the Beacon and distributed across the city to help support families across Wearside. A huge thank you to both McVities and Business in the Community and to representatives from each of the good causes below who collected the parcels.
