Spooktacular halloween at the Beacon of Light

After a busy summer at the Beacon, we’re back with a spooktacular week of holiday course fun.

Our ever-popular holiday club returns with a special Halloween twist including pumpkin decorating, fancy dress and lots more fang-tastic activities.

The Halloween fun doesn’t stop there as our Ministry of Food Kitchen hosts our new Little Monsters Baking session, giving your child a chance to have fun in the kitchen.

Football courses are also back this month with our popular two and three-day courses returning across the week as well as the return of our Train Like a Pro Day. Receive coaching from Sunderland AFC coaches, take part in a range of sessions including strength and conditioning with academy scouts also in attendance.     

Take a look at the some of October’s line-up below:

Little Monsters and Halloween Baking – Join us in the kitchen to create some Halloween-themed bakes alongside some spooky activities. (Little Monsters 2-6 years, Halloween Baking 7-15 years)

Cage Football – A session consisting of small-sided games where the ball doesn’t go out, with quick decision-making, lots of touches on the ball, brilliant for player development!

Halloween Slime Club – Head to our slime laboratory and create some gruesome slime as our slime club returns for Halloween.

Disability Multi-sports – Enjoy a range of sports including basketball, boxing, hockey, cricket, football and many more.

Bookings can be made on Foundation of Light’s online booking system following the steps below:

-Click the course you want to book

-Select ‘I’m buying for someone else’ then ‘Add to Basket’

-The window will close as the course is added to your basket.

-Click basket icon at top right of screen and then follow the instructions to set up your account.

-Once you fill in your details (you will only be asked to do this once) you will be sent a confirmation email with a verification link to click.

-After clicking the verification link in your email, come back to the checkout page and add the details of the person you are booking the course for via the ‘Add New Person’ button.

-Continue to emergency contact and consents page, once completed, answer additional questions.

-Once answered, proceed to payment, choosing PayPal or Debit / Credit Card options to complete the booking.
