Update on our programmes
Following the latest update to government guidelines regarding national restrictions announced on 4 January 2021, the Foundation of Light has suspended some of its programmes until further notice. A full list of programme updates is listed below and we will endeavour to communicate any changes to customers as soon as possible. The Beacon of Light will close to the general public from Wednesday 6th January, but will continue to operate as usual for Beacon of Light School, Siblings Nursery, Military Preparation College, NHS services and FoL education programmes. The safety and welfare of our staff and participants is paramount to us. We look forward to welcoming everyone back to Foundation programmes, when it is safe to do so. Suspended programmes:

Limited face to face interaction with strict social distancing guidelines in place:
  • Premier League Kicks, Kicks Targeted and YOLO - 1:1 mentoring for vulnerable children (no home visits)
  • Tackling Loneliness Together (no home visits)
  • Premier League Primary Stars – school delivery to support key worker and vulnerable children
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
  • Anyone entering the Beacon of Light must scan the NHS Test and Trace QR code and register with the NHS Covid-19 App
  • Masks must be worn in all public areas of the Beacon
  • Hand sanitiser is available for everyone and all equipment regularly cleaned before, during and after sessions
  • A social distancing policy is in place and must be followed
