Vantec Employability Programme
Foundation of Light have worked with Washington-based logistics firm Vantec to bring those aged 19+ and not in employment a chance to gain experience, learn work skills, and ultimately find a job.
The three-week programme is aimed at people who are interested in manufacturing, warehousing, or logistics as a career and offers a wraparound service that will not only provide pathways to employment but will support each individual through coaching and mentoring.
Programme Structure
Week 1:
Introduction to Manufacturing and Logistics at the Beacon of Light
Health and Safety training
Personal Support
Weeks 2 and 3:
Practical work experience at Vantec, Washington
After completion:
Successful participants will be asked in the following week to complete Fork Lift Truck training.
Performance-dependant guaranteed position at Vantec.
